Scope and content

Series consists of representations from the public (e.g., petitions and form letters) sent to the Minister responsible for Immigration (Robert Andras) regarding: the deportation of Haitian workers, 1974-1975 (Vols. 732-734); and the admission of members of the Palestine Liberation Organization to Canada to attend a United Nations conference, 1975 (Vol. 734). The series also includes miscellaneous representations from the public to the Minister or Deputy Minister regarding immigration policy generally, 1975-1976 (Vol. 734).
