Biography - Journalists

Several Canadian journalists served in South Africa and are named in some sources such as, Evans, The Canadian Contingents (1901), p. viii. C. Frederick Hamilton and John A. Ewan of the Toronto Globe; Stanley McKeown Brown of the Toronto Mail and Empire; W. Richmond Smith and H.S. White of the Montreal Star; R.E. Finn of the Montreal Herald.

In addition to MPs Henri Bourassa and Joseph-Israel Tarte, Winston Churchill also served as a correspondent for the Morning post (London, England).
