Montréal photographer Kèro Beaudoin is well known for her numerous photographs of Quebec writers taken between 1960 and 1995. Her portraits have been the focus of various exhibitions and books, and have appeared in films and literary dictionaries. In 1981, she published an album of portraits, Au fonds des yeux: 25 Québécoises qui écrivent (Éditions Nouvelle Optique). She has lived in Québec City since 1998.
