Gallery - Strike!
There is a fine line between photojournalism and photographic documentation. Each photograph in this grouping is of the same subject matter -- workers on strike -- yet what distinguishes the journalistic image from the documentary one is its intended usage. For instance, while all of these images are documentary in nature, only those intended to illustrate significant current events to a wide audience are technically journalistic.
